I am not a sandwich person! I don't know what it is, but I never think "hmmm you know what, a sandwich sounds so goood right now!" This sandwich is a game changer though! The everything bagel makes this sandwich texturally more interesting, and it has a great flavor. Simply assemble all the ingredients and you'll be eating this delicious sandwich in no time!
Yummy Everything Bagel Sandwich w/ Sprouts Recipe:
Yield: 2 Sandwiches
Cook Time: 15 Min
Ingredients:
- 2 Everything Bagel Bagels
- 1 Avocado, Sliced
- 1/3 Cup Broccoli Sprouts
- 1/8 Cup Cream Cheese
- 4-6 Turkey Slices
- Red Pepper Aioli:
o 1 Red Bell Pepper
o 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
o 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise (Or Veganaise)
o ½ tsp Salt & White Pepper
o 1 Garlic Clove
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Wash bell pepper and dry with a towel. Baste the bell pepper with olive oil and roast in the oven for ten minutes or until the skin begins to peel off the pepper.
3. Remove from oven and remove the skins from the pepper. Let cool. Place mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and garlic in a blender and blend until combined.
4. Toast bagels in a toaster or toaster oven. Let cool.
5. To build bagel, spread aioli on the top side of the bagel. Spread cream cheese on the bottom side of the bagel. Top with sliced avocado and turkey and broccoli sprouts. Cut in half for easier eating, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- You can always substitute the cream cheese for hummus, and you can substitute the turkey for falafels or chickpea patties!
