Ten Minute Tiramisu Rounds

Need a killer dessert idea for the holiday season?


This delicious recipe will be sure to impress! The initial recipe I created is for a veganized version, however I have the classic modifications included as well!


I recommend serving with hot espresso or chilled wine for a good time, enjoy! :)




Ten Minute Tiramisu Rounds Recipe:


Yield: 6 Servings

Cook Time: 10 Min


Ingredients:

- 1 ½ Cups Coconut Cream (or Heavy Cream)

- 8 oz Vanilla Bean Cashew Yogurt (or Mascarpone Cheese)

- 1/3 Cup Sugar

- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 ½ Cups Cold Espresso

- 3 Tbsp Coffee Liqueur

- Cocoa Powder for Dusting (High Quality-Dutch*)

- 1 Package Lady Fingers


Directions:

1. Add cream to mixing bowl, beat on medium speed. Slowly add the sugar and vanilla. Continue to beat until the volume doubles.

2. Add the vanilla bean cashew yogurt or mascarpone cheese and mix until combined. Add the coffee liqueur and espresso into a shallow bowl. Dip the lady fingers into the espresso on both sides quickly, and layer in a glass pan.

3. Smooth half the yogurt mixture over the top and add another layer of dipped lady fingers. Smooth remaining yogurt over the top. For best results, refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.

4. Using a biscuit cutter with a handle, cut the tiramisu into rounds and carefully scoop out using a spatula or pastry spatula.

5. Dust cocoa powder generously over the top with a fine mesh strainer or tea strainer. Top with an espresso bean if you’d like, enjoy!


Tips/Tricks:

-*Don’t dust on powder until ready to serve.

-If freezing before serving, let thaw for 15-20 minutes before attempting to serve.

-If you don't have coffee liqueur, like Bailey's, you can do without.

-I have a hard time finding lady fingers in traditional grocery stores- Amazon sells them online, or specialty grocery stores that offer more culturally-diverse options tend to have these in stock.
