These simple vegan caesar wraps are perfect for taking on the go while holiday gift shopping, going for a hike, or even going on a picnic! These babies are made with a vegan caesar dressing, fresh kale, and a secret surprise... walnuts!! I hope you all enjoy :)
Simple Vegan Caesar Wraps Recipe:
Yield: 2 Wraps
Cook Time: 10 Min
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ Cups Chopped Romaine
- ¾ Cup Chopped Kale
- 2 Flour Whole Wheat Tortillas
- Optional: ¼ Cup Chopped Walnuts
- Caesar Dressing:
o ½ Cup Vegenaise
o 1/8 Cup Tamari
o 2 Tbsp Seaweed Salad or Dried Seaweed
o 2 tsp Garlic, Minced
o 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
o 1 tsp Salt
o 1 tsp Pepper
o ¼ Cup Water
o 1/8 Cup Vegetable Oil
Directions:
1. First, wash and dry lettuces. Chop and set them aside.
2. In a blender, add all the ingredients for the dressing and blend together until smooth and creamy.
3. Toss salad with dressing, and place on top of a tortilla and roll up together like a burrito. Add chopped walnuts in before rolling if you’d like, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- You can also heat up the tortilla slightly before wrapping the Caesar wraps, sometimes this makes the tortilla softer to work with when rolling.
