Refreshing Lavender Lemonade

Now that the weather is warming up, I like to have lemonade on hand and at the ready! This recipe is quick and delicious and lavender is surprisingly the perfect mate with lemonade! It won't let you down, I promise!

Refreshing Lavender Lemonade Recipe:


Yield: 4 Servings

Cook Time: 45 Min

Ingredients:

- 4 Cups Water

- 2 Cups Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

- 2 Tbsp Dried Lavender

- ½ Cup Raw Sugar

- ¼ Cup Honey or Agave

- 2 Cups Water

- *Lemon Slices for Garnish

- *Food Coloring: 1 Red Drop + 1 Blue Drop

Directions:

1. Combine the 4 cups water and fresh squeezed lemon juice into a large pitcher. Place in the refrigerator and set aside for now.

2. Next, in a small pot combine the 2 cups water and raw sugar and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the honey and dried lavender and remove from heat.

3. Let mixture steep for one hour with a lid or damp cloth over the top. Strain mixture and remove the lavender buds. Add the lavender mixture to the pitcher with lemons and water and stir to combine, enjoy!

Tips/Tricks:

- You can add ice if you desire or food coloring to make the lemonade more vibrant and fun!
