Celebrating something special? Grab a bottle of delicious wine to relax and create memories with your loved ones!
You don't always need to use a decanter when drinking wine, however decanters can help aerate the wine and help "bloom" the flavor, creating a better user experience overall, I hope you all enjoy :)
How To Use A Decanter To Decant Wine:
Yield: 4 Servings
Cook Time: 20 Min – 2 Hr
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottle of Wine of Choice (Red/White/Rose)
- Decanter or Glass Container
- Wine Corkscrew/Key
- Wine Glasses
Directions:
1. First, gather all materials needed.
2. Cut open the foil on the wine bottle using the wine corkscrew/key.
3. Open the wine bottle with the wine corkscrew/key and remove the cork.
4. Pour the bottle of wine into the decanter carefully.
5. Let the wine aerate for anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours if it’s a red and if it’s a white or rose let it aerate for about 30 minutes. (Strong reds need longer to aerate).
Tips/Tricks:
- The more mature the wine is, the less time it needs to aerate. Mature wines are typically classified as 10+ years.
- Aerating wine helps bloom the flavor and helps keep the sediment from spoiling the wine experience for the guest.
