With the new year rolling in, I know lots of you will be trying to eat healthier. Fresh pressed juices are a great way to get nutrients and stay hydrated while you're busy out and about! They are simple to prepare, and almost anything can be juiced, I hope you enjoy! :)
Fresh Pressed Greens Recipe:
Yield: 2 Servings
Cook Time: 20 Min
Ingredients:
- 2 Small Carrots, Peeled
- 2 in. Ginger Root, Peeled
- 1 Lemon, Juiced
- 2 Green Apples, Quartered
- 1 English Cucumber, Peeled
- 3-5 Celery Stalks, Cut into 1/3
- *Agave to Sweeten If Needed
Directions:
1. Gather juicer, cutting board, and fruits/veggies.
2. Peel carrots, ginger root, and cucumber.
3. Juice lemons, then cut apples into quarters, and cut celery stalks into thirds.
4. Turn on juicer. Add the carrots, ginger, green apples, cucumber, and celery stalks to juicer.
5. Once finished juicing, add the lemon juice and agave, stir.
6. Add more agave if you feel it needs to taste sweeter, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- The less peel that goes through the juicer, the better your juicer will work.
- You can also peel the celery stalks if you’d like!
