Brioche French Toast w/ Berries

This yummy French toast recipe will be sure to satisfy at your next brunch or breakfast! Pair with some fresh berries and you’ve got a delicious and nutritious start to your day!

Brioche French Toast w/ Berries Recipe:


Yield: 2 Servings

Cook Time: 20 Min

Ingredients:

- 4 Slices Brioche Bread or Texas Toast

- 1 Tbsp Butter or Coconut Oil

- 1 Large Egg

- ¼ Cup Milk, Heavy Cream or Almond Milk

- 1 tsp Cinnamon

- 1 tsp Vanilla

- ½ Cup Assorted Berries

- ¼ Cup Maple Syrup

- *Powdered Sugar (Optional)

Directions:

1. Whisk together the egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a large bowl. Set aside.

2. Heat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat. Melt butter or coconut oil.

3. Dip brioche slice into egg mixture and coat both sides of the bread evenly. Place on skillet or griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side of the bread.

4. Repeat step 3 until all slices are toasted.

5. Top with fresh berries, maple syrup, and powdered sugar if desired, enjoy!

Tips/Tricks:

- Keep the toasts warm and crispy while you are cooking by placing toasts on a cooling rack in an oven set to 150-170F. Make sure you don’t stack them together though :)
