Wholesome breakfasts in the morning can be a struggle sometimes... So I like to make something easy like this smoothie! I portion out everything the night before, and then throw it all together in the blender! Viola it's as easy as pie, minus all that unhealthy stuff, enjoy! :)
Blueberry Banana Smoothie Recipe:
Yield: 2 Smoothies
Cook Time: 10 Min
Ingredients:
- 1 Banana, peeled
- 1 ½ Cups Blueberries, Frozen
- 4 oz. Blueberry Yogurt or Coconut Yogurt
- ¾ Cup Almond Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp Agave or Honey
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
1. First, place banana, blueberries, yogurt, milk, vanilla extract, agave or honey, and cinnamon in a blender.
2. Blend on high until mixture is smooth and creamy. You can add more milk if desired to thin the smoothie out.
3. Serve chilled, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- If you want to add extra protein to the smoothie, you can always add nuts like almonds, cashews, or even flax seeds.
- I like to portion out all ingredients and place in individual Ziplocs for a couple smoothies, and then I freeze them :)
