Peanut Butter Banana Toast Recipe:
Yield: 1 Slice Toast
Cook Time: 5 Min
Ingredients:
- 1 Slice Whole Wheat Bread
- 1 ½ Tbsp Peanut Butter
- ½ Banana, Sliced Thinly
- 1/8 Cup Walnuts, Crushed
- Optional: Honey or Agave Drizzle
Directions:
1. First, toast one slice of bread for 2-3 minutes in a toaster or toaster oven.
2. Let cool for one minute. Spread peanut butter carefully over toasted slice.
3. Slice banana and place on top of toast.
4. Add the crushed walnuts and/or a honey or agave drizzle, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- Place bread in a refrigerator for it to last much longer than the best by date! I usually will use bread up to 2 weeks past the date, as long as I don’t see any strange looking spots on the bread.
- Set out the ingredients the night before you go to bed, that way you won’t be scrambling to find a banana in the wee hours of the morning!
